RESERVATION: INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
How to reserve a camping pitch?
A pitch can only be reserved through our website www.campinglegurp.com. No requests will be accepted by email or telephone in order to prevent overbooking. All you have to do is follow the online procedure by filling in the requested information and paying a deposit of 30% of the price of the stay (the site is hosted on a French platform and complies with law n° 2018-700 of August 3, 2018 which establishes the payment security standard; AmEx cards are not accepted).
What is the process for booking online?
There are 4 steps when booking online:
- "Choice of stay" where you select your dates and your type of pitch (pitch without electricity, with electricity, itinerant)
- "Options" where you detail the participants in your stay and the options of the stay
- "Contact details" where you indicate your contact details and have the possibility of leaving a comment regarding your reservation
- "Payment" where you pay in line your deposit
Can I book several pitches?
When booking, you can book several pitches. In the 2nd step "Option", you have the possibility to save the details of the stay and book another pitch, you are then redirected to step 1. All the stays recorded will be summarized in step 3 on the right side of your screen. The deposits for the different stays will be added together and you will pay the full deposits in step 4.
Is it possible to book a specific pitch?
It is possible to leave us indications of your preferences in step 3 in the comments space. You can enter the desired pitch numbers, preferences such as a sunny or shaded pitch, near the toilets or in a specific area of the campsite, etc. The campsite team will then assign you a pitch, trying as much as possible to respect your criteria according to availability and everyone's requests.
Is it possible to have pitches next to each other?
It is possible in the comments space of step 3 of the reservation to indicate to us that you wish to be next to another person who has reserved a pitch in the campsite. You must then indicate to us at least the name and first name of the reservation. In the event that several pitches have been booked at once from our website, we systematically place them side by side, subject to availability and unless otherwise advised by the camper.
The website does not offer me a pitch
If the website does not offer you a pitch, check the requested dates and the number of people indicated: you will not be offered anything if your dates are outside the campsite opening period or if you indicate more than 6 people in your search.
The website offers me pitches on dates different from those entered during the search
If the website offers you different dates, it means that no pitch is free for the entire requested period. The website will then offer you shorter or staggered dates.
Full campsite: can I make several reservations for the same stay on successive dates?
A reservation corresponds to a specific pitch, that is to say that each time you book on the website, a new pitch will be assigned to you and will result in a movement of your installation to a new pitch. In order to optimize pitch management and for your comfort, only one movement will be authorized per stay.
Example:
Paul wants to stay at the campsite from July 15 to July 27 on an electric pitch. If Paul chooses an electric pitch from July 15 to July 21 on the website's suggestion, he can complete his stay by checking whether an electric or non-electric pitch is available from July 21 to 27. He is then aware that he will have to, on the morning of July 21, transfer all his equipment to the new location.
On the other hand, if Paul has to split his stay into more than 2 reservations and he asks to book from July 15 to 20, from July 20 to 22 and from July 22 to 27, the reservations will be canceled by the campsite and the deposit paid will be rejected by our team.
I have to change my location during my stay
Only one move is allowed per stay. The change of location takes place in the morning, imperatively between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on the day indicated on your stay voucher.
Can I add additional people to a reservation already confirmed by the campsite?
We accept additional people in a reservation if the number of people and the number and type of facilities comply with our internal regulations. You can send us by email the Name, First name and date of birth of each participant as well as their dates of stay and we will add them to the reservation, or you can add additional participants directly at the campsite reception.
If a person not previously registered wants to be added to a current stay at the campsite, the person in charge of the pitch must be present to confirm their agreement.
PREPARING YOUR ARRIVAL WELL
Can I arrive before the reservation date?
If you wish to bring forward your arrival day, you will need to book an additional night from the website and indicate in the comments at step 3 of the reservation that this is an addition to your basic reservation. Depending on availability, the extra day can be accepted on the same pitch, accepted with a new pitch for one night or refused.
What time can I arrive at the campsite?
The campsite reception opens at 8:00 am. Pitches can be vacated by previous occupants until 12:00 pm.
What happens if I arrive after reception closes?
If you arrive after reception closes, the night watchman at reception will be able to welcome you and let you settle into the campsite until 11:00 pm. You will have to finalize the administrative procedures at reception the following morning.
What is the maximum departure time?
The pitch must be vacated no later than 12:00 pm on the morning of departure. Any overrun may result in an additional night being billed.
What are the cancellation conditions?
A written record is required for the cancellation of the stay to be taken into account. You can send an email to contact@campinglegurp.fr. In the event that you have taken out Campez Couvert cancellation insurance when booking, we invite you to contact them for any reimbursement at sinistres@campez-couvert.com or on www.declare.fr. If you have not taken out cancellation insurance, no refund will be made.
When should I pay the balance of my stay?
The balance of your stay is paid upon arrival at the campsite.
What payment methods can I use to pay for my stay?
The campsite accepts payments by bank cards (except AmEx), checks (except foreign ones), holiday vouchers and cash (up to a maximum of €300 in accordance with Article 19 of the Amending Finance Act No. 2013-1279 of 29 December 2013)
What documents should I present at reception upon my arrival?

- Present an identity document (identity card, passport, driving license, or other: family record book) for each participant of the stay.
- Present your pet's vaccination record.
