The Medoc
The Médoc is a charming region in the South-West of France, renowned for its vineyards. In the Médoc Regional Natural Park, you will enjoy the pine forests and marshes. The fauna and flora are very rich and diverse. During a walk in the Médoc, you will be able to see many animals such as cows or horses. The Gironde estuary
This is the largest estuary in Western Europe, but also the best preserved. This estuary has an area of 635 km², stretches over 75 km long and 12 km wide. The Gironde estuary is home to many islands, three of which can be visited during cruises. During your stay at campsite in the Médoc, you will be charmed by the landscapes of the Gironde.
The Cordouan Lighthouse
Located 7 kilometers from the coast, the Phare de Cordouan is located at the mouth of the Gironde estuary, surrounded by sandbanks. It is the oldest lighthouse in France still in operation. You can visit this lighthouse, accessible only by boat. Treat yourself to an exceptional visit to an emblematic place.
Soulac-sur-Mer
Soulac-sur-Mer is ideally located on the Atlantic Coast. You will find beaches as far as the eye can see. You will enjoy surfing, swimming or all types of sports activities. We recommend that you visit the Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-la-Fin-des-Terres. Also, don't miss the Museum of Art and Archaeology presenting the history of Aquitaine.
Montalivet
Montalivet is located on the Atlantic Ocean in the pointe du Médoc. You will discover a naturist domain, with two kilometers of beaches. Get some fresh air and get closer to nature, in the more than 200 hectares of pine forest.
